Crain 188 Hinge Scriber

The Hinge Scriber is a precision tool designed for accurate scribing of sheet vinyl seams, offering ease of adjustment, secure grip, and full control. The offset distance between the bottom guide and the needle is easily set using a precision thumbwheel, and the three-arm knob locks the needle in position. Its hinged base allows effortless insertion at seams, especially on thicker materials. To use, open the hinge, place the base under the top material, and hook the guide on the edge of the material underneath. Folding the hinge back positions the needle perfectly on the top material, ready to scribe.
