No. 569 – 11 ¾” Tapping Block

The No. 569 Tapping Block is a durable 11 ¾” long tool, machined from ¾” thick solid plastic, designed to help installers achieve tight, gap-free flooring. Used with a hammer, it taps the sides or ends of boards together while minimizing the risk of damage.

One side and one end feature a relieved bottom edge that fits over the tongue of the board, allowing the block’s body to make square contact with the outer edge of the plank. The long U-shaped handle provides superior control, preventing unwanted rotation when striking near board ends—a common requirement during installation.
